In the late 1800s the Gentleman Outlaw, Charles Boyles, frequently robbed Wells Fargo stagecoaches near an old lumber town in Northern California. Over a hundred years later, a group of kids have discovered historical artifacts that could lead to his hidden final score. Along the way, they must try to outwit modern-day bandits, escape a near bear attack, and face their fears together. They must learn to work together and realize the value of each individual inside of a team.
